This is a spacious property in a rural setting of the Minervois wine growing region,Situated on a winding country lane leading out of the village of Marseillette. There is a large comfortable lounge with satellite TV, DVD and CD player, with access to a terrace outside overlooking the hills, one double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, one opening onto the terrace. Plus a bathroom with shower and wash basin and separate WC. Outside is a huge patio with splendid views across vineyards, a shaded area for dining and a 5mx8m swimming pool. |

The area has the distinction of having the famous Canal du Midi (now listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site) running through one side of the village. The house is within walking distance of the village where you will find a boulangerie; restaurant and friendly bar. Nearby in Trèbe, there are numerous shops, 2 supermarkets and tourist office. Several restaurants situated on the banks of the Canal offer an ideal place to relax and watch the boats. |

From the house you can enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Walk, cycle or jog, along the banks of the canal, through the vineyards and countryside. Discover friendly wine producers, taste local produce from the Corbières and Black mountain regions or simply relax by the pool. The Mediterranean is situated 45 minutes drive away. Along this stretch of 20 km of beaches you can locate Narbonne Plage; Sête; Mèze and savour the typically French lifestyle with many cafes and seafood restaurants.The fabulous medieval city of Carcassonne, which is the only fortified town in Europe still inhabited, is 20 minutes away. Saturdays there is a bustling market in the town square. There is also an excellent golf club, which welcomes visiting players.
There are weekly village markets locally on most days of the week. Details of all the local activities and attractions can be found in the house. Or at the tourist office in Trebes. |

A 25% deposit is required to secure the booking. Balance is due 8 weeks prior to rental period. A £250 damage/security deposit is required on payment of balance. This will be refunded minus any costs for damage/replacement. Or in full, following a satisfactory inventory on your departure. |
